About AWM

 The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is a non-profit organization that encourages women and girls to study and have active careers in mathematical sciences and promotes equal opportunities and equal treatment of women and girls in the mathematical sciences. AWM was founded in 1971 and has more than 3000 members. You can learn more about AWM by following this link:

The chapter of AWM at Utah State meets about once a month for various activities such as seminars, guest speakers, or game nights! These activities are a great way to meet other women in mathematics, get involved in the department, and learn tips and tricks for teaching, researching, or the workplace.
