General Financial Aid and Scholarship Information

The Department awards many scholarships to Math/Stat majors using the earnings of investments from funds generously donated by the families named above and by Alumni and their families. Financial aid for undergraduate students is offered in two forms from our department:

First, the department has a number of scholarships that are competitively awarded to outstanding undergraduates. Information on all such scholarships is contained above, as well as the Scholarship Application.

Second, for majors in the department whether on a scholarship or not, there are ongoing job opportunities to grade papers or lead recitation sections. More information on employment opportunities and applications can be found at: https://math.usu.edu/undergraduate/jobs/.

Requirements For All Scholarhips

In all cases, recipients must be Math/Stat majors and maintin at least 12 credits per semester while receiving the award. Continuation of the award for the following semester depends upon satisfactory progress toward the appropriate degree and maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5.
