Quiz 2, on Friday Jan 17 will cover Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 but not Section 4 of Chapter 3.

 

Clickers:

You need to register your clicker. Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to http://www.iclicker.com/support/registeryourclicker/
  2. Enter your First Name.
  3. Enter your Last Name.
  4. Enter your A-number for the Student ID.
  5. Enter your Remote ID as instructed (8-character alphanumeric code).
  6. Type in the image code as instructed.
  7. Click "Register" and you are done! 

Clickers will be graded on participation, not correctness. The clicker participation will be worth 25 points out of 500 (see the syllabus). If you answer all except one question for 80% of the clicker days, you will get the 25 points. PLEASE take the clicker questions seriously! If you answer at random, I will think you are confused and it will slow me down. If this happens too often, you will need to learn some of the material on your own.
